Iv lost Margaret this morning 
she hasnt been right for a few days and was barely eating, last night she looked terrible and id rang the vet and had her booked to go in this morning to be PTS but she beat me to it
I had Margaret and Easter 2 and a half years ago from the battery hen welfare trust,i lost easter just over a year ago, she had gone to sleep in her nest box
Margs was always the one in charge and could be a complete pain at times, she always eats all the best corn and for the last 12 months has eaten her own eggs so had to be kept seperate from the others till she had eaten her egg and they had laid thiers! i got some stick about that i can tell you but i just couldnt part with her, so i just managed her that way.

here she is with Easter, she always was a much stronger and generally in better heath than easter as you can see from how much quicker she tuned into a proper hen
