Blue currently has a T6 Leather Thorowgood which fits him really well and is very comfortable. We have already had to change gullet down to wide which is a really useful feature.
I am wondering if I should buy an endurance version for long-distance riding and wonder if anyone has had any experience of them.
Thanks Suzanne

I've done up to 40 mile rides in a Wintec 'Wide' synthetic with no problems and have recently changed to a bespoke leather saddle purely because Harley's shape has changed.
I tried the Thorogood endurance saddle and it just didn't suit Harley's shape at all. It also restricted his shoulder and was too 'banana' shaped for him - but every horse is different.
I use a Heather Moffat seat saver for my own comfort!! And use sheepskin lined numnahs for Harley's comfort.
