Some pics of Gem's sarcoid, in case it's of interest to anyone who may think their horse/pony has the same! This is apparently a 'fibroma' type of sarcoid. It did get slightly bigger than this so the vet was able to get a rubber ring around it - it's now partially come off where the rubber ring was placed but there is still some left at the base, I'm hoping this will come off also over time - the vet didn't say that any further treatment was necessary so I'll see what happens with it!

Thanks Gill, interesting to see. I've had 3 horses with sarcoids looking exactly like that and all were successfully treated. It seems to be extremely common.

I've never dealt with a sarcoid so it's interesting to see.

Docs looked like that too, vet was going to start the cream route round about now BUT thankfully ITS GONE! It started to shrink not soon after i started giving him Garlic granules; may be coincidence but whatever went on Im glad it went on its own.
