Since our thumbsup off the 2nd vet I've been walking Doc out 10-20 mins a day in preparation for turnout next Sat; I will admit that I've never felt pulses and even when the other vet kept saying Doc HAD pulses I couldn't feel anything WELL . . . . the last couple of days when we've completed our walking I've checked Doc legs & I've found a slight pulse in one of his fronts, after about 20mins its hardly feelable - should I be worried or is this "normal"  |

No, that's perfectly normal - just like your pulse going up slightly with a bit of exersise. That's why it's important when you're checking pulses for lami to do it at the same time and same situation everyday and not immediately on bringing in from the field. So glad everything is going well.  |

So glad everything is going well. TQ I can't say I'm looking forward to trying him out & I'll be A-MAZED if he stays in the little pen I've put up for him BUT at least I will have tried ;D |

UPDATEDoc had the all clear off the "alternative" vet 5 weeks ago now, due to work commitments I kept him on box rest for a further two weeks and then turned him out for 45mins in a stable sized pen for a couple of days and he's been having the time & area increased daily so now were upto 5hrs in a small area of the field; Doc has just been a total  he was an utter nutter for a few days but he stopped in his little area and I can now turn him out WITHOUT Sian and he doesn't escape  Had the farrier yesterday who said he couldn't find anything wrong and that Doc should be fine to start work again
