Hello I need some recommendations for a decent waterproof jacket please. I'm sick ouf going out to sort the ponies and getting wet through (my Harry Hall jacket is shower-proof at best! ). I don't want to pay more than £50 please. Thanks

The best lightweight waterproof that we use is regatta 100% waterproof, we get a bigger size and put over our coats, trousers are good as well.

I have a long wax coat. Otherwise I find the very bright, padded hi viz maintenance coat I bought from one of the shops selling safety equipment for work is very warm and totally waterproof.
It doesn't look glam, but it was great value several years ago (about £40)and is still going strong.

The best waterproof for riding that I've got is my Musto Suffolk. A bit more than £50 though! I had to have it as a joint BD and Christmas present from the whole family! LOL! It keeps everything dry though, me and the saddle.
