Hellooooooo! Have you been missing me?? We have been banished to the far lands as "proper horses" have moved in! However, "we have a flag!", but more of that later!
A pea new year to you all from me. I is doing a small sulk cos I do go into the Crimbo Competition and no one voted for me! I did have to vote for MYSELF so I did get one vote! Perhaps you didn’t recognize me?? Lucy said it wasn’t my best photo ever, and that I did look more like a goat than a pony!
Anyway, I bet you want to know what’s been going on. It was sooo wet. It did rain for forty days and forty nights and Uncle Pants did decide we should build an ark as someone called Noah was coming to visit! Auntie Choc did resort to eating leaves as she was so hungry!
I did doing sneaky and nipped in to hoover her breakfast leftovers when Uncle Isaac wasn’t looking!
She hadn’t left much!
In November we were all shut in the thistle field (though there weren’t many thistles left cos Mummy had been busy!) except Auntie Choc, who was left in the yard. She did get rather upset cos Lucy said she had a new friend coming and we did do lots of calling to see if she was alright. Uncle Pants was beside himself as he loves Auntie Choc and Uncle Isaac as the main man thought he should meet all visitors first!
Anyway, then a giant appeared in the field next to us, even bigger than Auntie Choc!!
I did ask Celtie wot she was and she did say she was quite a small horse actually. I did think she was the biggest horse in the world ever! Lucy said she was called Caroline and that we had to be polite to her. She and Auntie Choc galloped about for ages.
They did do seriously steaming,
and then more galloping!
I did do watching
And Auntie Choc more charging about
And even when we did all come to say hello
She was still going and did go all curley
Uncle Isaac did do seriously miffed cos he couldn’t go and introduce himself to the new lady!
Eventually a truce of sorts was reached and Auntie Choc did stay by Uncle Pants at the hedge and Mrs Caroline did do a roll
And then did munch
She was a very funny colour. Not a proper Dales colour! Daleses are black!
She seemed soooo sad that Mummy and I did speak to her through the hedge. She did have a funny accent (not like Celtie’s) and she did say she had been taken from her baby that morning, and although she could hear him calling still she could not get back to him. I did have to blink away a tear cos I remembered Mummy being taken away last year and I was very upset. Mummy said “Don’t worry, love, you have lots of new grass and at least you’ll get some peace from the annoying little kn*b!” I did think that was a little unnecessary!
Lucy did go and see Mrs Caroline’s baby and he was chilling with his mate she said!
Anyway, as it's a skool night for Lucy I will have to finish here and tell you how things turned out another day!
It's nice to be back!
Byeee!
