I am so sorry you have lost your special girl Helen. 
Looking at those wonderful photographs I can see exactly why you were so attached, she had a wonderful eye and was obviously a fabulous character. The first horse or pony is always the most special of friends and I just know you have many wonderful memories of her and with her. We always hope don't we they can go on for much longer than is sometimes possible, but she did have a wonderful life and a super retirement which was fantastically useful, and although her peaceful ending did come to soon for you, what more could a horse ever want.
