Off to Badminton at the end of the month (YAY ) and on my shopping list is a new saddle bag. My Weatherbeeta one really has given up the ghost and the Cottage Craft one I replaced it with is so pants it's now gathering dust on top of a cupboard. So can anyone recommend a good bag. It's only for when T and I go off exciting places and for the VERY occassional times I actually bring my tack home to clean It's for my VSD WOW - so quite a bulky saddle, but not very forward cut or with very long flaps. However it does have a deep seat so the bag needs to have space for that. Any ideas? Cheers Olivia

I'm going as well Olivia - from 29th April to 3rd May I've got a few bags - one is a Shires which I put my Fhoenix in - it wasn't very expensive and is roomy enough for the bulky seat (similar in size and shape to the SBS - not sure how that compares to the WOW). It unzips completely to get the saddle in; A Horseware Rambo saddlebag (which is my favourite), again it unzips all the way round, is nicely padded inside and has my Barry Swain saddle in it - but sadly it wasn't really big enough for the HM saddles, so may not be suitable for the WOW; A RiffRaff bag which only has a zip across the top and you kind of drop the saddle into it - but it's quite fiddly to get it in and out. I like the bags which zip from end to end and open right out, makes life much easier. I've been told there are acres of trade stands so I'm sure you will find something!

Cool - thanks guys.
Gill I'm doing the Saturday and the Sunday. I'm hoping the shopping will be a little less manic on the Saturday and can get the main things I'm after then.
