I want to buy Jester a new saddle cloth but can't really find one that I like.. main reason being I can't decide what colour would suit him! I've always had mostly green things for him but I'm finding that a bit boring now.. and I'm not sure if it really suits him? I have black tack and he's such a range of browns yellows and blacks in his coat I'm really not sure! Any advice on good saddle cloths and colours would be much appreciated!! (not too expensive mind)

I'm in agreement with Taffydales re. Nuumed, especially their high wither half wool one in black. Washes really well and is very hard wearing so should last a long time thereby justifying the price.

Magic has got a Cliff Barnsby non slip pad, in black with a silver trim. Very effective on those round shiny bodies. His tack is black by the way.

It wasn't cheap by the way - about £40 I remember, 6 years ago - but washes up really well.

Thanks everyone I've bought a cheap Rambo one for the time being while I make up my mind! I'm definitely going to have a look at the Cliff Barnsby ones as my school used to be opposite their old factory and it would be fab to support a local saddlery! I guess it just shows that you don't have to look far afield for great products.. I do live in the heart of Englands saddlery business after all! ;D
