We have decided to take the plunge and show Lady in a week or two at a local open show. It is years since I did any shows and not in hand showing then! Being a mare I am assuming that she would be best in a white rope halter? She's not too strong so should be controllable (famous last words?) ;D I wanted to put ribbons in her tail to at least give her a chance not to be judged as a connemara (grey!) but have never done so before. I am presuming that they are just tied to the top of the tail? not plaited in? does it matter what colour? I've usually seen them in various combinations of red/blue and white. I suppose also I'd better teach her to trot up in hand... before the day! If she goes well, we might brave a County show later in the year!
