At the moment dan is having half a scoop of alfa a light and a handfull of cool mix, he has this once a day.
this is the sort of thing i have always fed him and he has always been fine
but iv been looking at feed balancers an wondered if maybe to try one of the lo-cal ones as he had lami a few years back
does anyone use the blue chipl lami lite ?
and if i did how would i feed it? on its own or with his alfa a ?
how cost effective is it? they do it for £30 per bag with free postage? or would i be cheper from my feed store??

I feed Bea the normal Blue Chip if he starts to drop weight in winter - and if you can get it for £30 a bag with free postage, go for it. It was a lot more expensive than that from our feed merchant.
Just out of interest - where did you find it at that price?

With his normal feed. But if you give Blue Chip a call they're really helpful and will advise you.

After Doc's "episode" last year I changed my two over onto Topspec Anti-Lam which I've actually recently changed again and mine now have the Topspec Lite balancer + Topspec Topchop Lite; never tried the Blue Chip - sorry.

I use Baileys Low Cal Balancer mixed with Dengie Hi Fi lite for mine and I think it's £25 a bag, thought the Blue chip one was expensive.
