Poor Calico had a touch of scouring but as she also looked like she had a touch of colic we called the vet, luckily she is fine (hard work these precious foals lol) he gave her some wormer, peptac to calm the diarhoea and some electrolytes.
We have continued this for couple of days and did what we could to clean her up, but as good as she is having a virtual bath was more than she fancied at this early age.
She is fine now but there was a small amount of dried faeces left on her bottom, I gently brushed this off today, she was so so good, but it has taken all the hair off and looks so sore!!!! I have put a general antiseptic cream on tonight but does anyone have any recommendations for something to protect from flies etc....
