Apart from the hair loss on her poor bottom from the scouring, poor Cali has a small area on her nose that has lost hair as well! I really dont know how it happened but it looks like the foal slip rubbed a 1p size of hair out.... as soon as we noticed it we removed the slip, although that was never tight as we checked it every day... what rotten parents we are This is showing no sign at all of hair growing back.... does anyone have experience of this and is it likely to grow back in time? we were seriously hoping to show Cali as she really is lovely looking but could this prevent her doing so well?

I've seen this in scoury calves and the hair always comes back in time. I'm sure others have had it with foals too so they'll be able to reassure you more.

Hiya, yes no problem the hair will grown back in time.
It wouldn't effect showing anyway even if it doesn't though and you can always get things like horse make-up to darken bald spots etc so they aren't obvious (if on dark hair obviously!).
But I wouldn't worry, it'll grow back I'm sure.
