As usual, years behind every one else, I finally got myself a smoothie maker to replace the old 1950's one my Mum gave me which finally died. I didn't realise how technology has come on - this new one is brilliant!
My first smoothie attempt: 1 apple 3 small/med kohlrabis (raw) 5 small/med beetroots (raw)
Nothing else, no added water and it was delicious! Maybe not to every one's taste but I loved it.

Pam!!!! Didn't that give you wind? It would me, LOL.
I have a smoothie maker too - mango and pinapple and banana is lovely. I use fruit juice (such as orange) if I want a thinner drink. If you're feeling decadent a big dollop of good quality ice cream whizzed with it is lovely - or sorbet if you want something less calorific.
