You're right, there were some beautiful highlands there. I think I saw two dales foals but could be wrong but there definitely weren't any ridden dales I don't think. It was a shame that section was so small as the other sections were pretty full. I watched the connie class too and fell in love with the stunning Skellorn Harrison (always liked him). There were some lovely ponies there; top quality animals so it was great to watch. We left after the fell/dales/highland section as they were running late and we needed to get back but I demanded to be texted the results lol. Yeah I think you're right about the welsh show the next day I loved the welsh that won the novice class in the morning. Have forgotten it's name but it went beauifully!

Well done WDF, I'm glad you gave it a go and sounds like you made a wise choice re the ridden. Have you a local RC near you that might have some winter novice classes that you could maybe do an inhand at in the morning and then ride around in the afternoon so he's settled after the inhand?

Sadly the only winter shows round here are run by the awful "MIDARC", you know . . . . . the ones I've repeatidly had run inns with Anyway, there ARE some RC's which hold Indoor dressage events so I'm thinking of taking him to some of them instead & then I know of a couple Trailblazer ridden shows next March I'd like to try him at

Massive well done for just taking part!
