R.I.P. DEAR GOLDY

Goldy, my lovly Buff Rock hen got attacked by another chicken yestarday morning, she died in the afternoon a couple months ago she got kicked by a horse and wasn't able to walk around for several weeks, she just got back to normal. she was always the happiest chicken in the coop, a real sweety. gosh, I'ss miss her she was one of the first chicks I got and she's nearly seven years old. the first year or so of her life she lived on Martha's Vineyard with us (an island off the coast of Cape Cod where I grew up)

So sorry Chloe - we have a mottley bunch of chickens and ducks and they are all individuals with great characters. It's sad to lose them

I have holidayed on MV. Fabulous place. How lucky are you to have grown up there
