At last Yorkshire and Lancashire get together!
Areas 4 and 14 are holding a get together near Selby on Saturday 12th March - postcode DN14 9PZ, not far from Mill Lane Stables, courtesy of Jennie Smith.
Nicola Eminson has been "volunteered" all be it happily, to share her expertise with anyone interested in coming along. We are planning a fun day with no pressure just friendly help and advice on any problems be it pony or rider - confidence issues, schooling or just getting going, you name it. Nicola will give one to one sessions and we promise she's not scarey.
All are welcome even if you just fancy a catch up and a bit of Dales gossip.
Eats and drinks are on the house just bring yourselves, your ponies and of course good weather.
A second one is planned for Burnley in East Lancashire, on Saturday 30th April 2011. Postcode for that one is BB12 8UD.
If you are interested in either of these days, pm me,
If these take off, we are hoping to make them a regular event with more dates available later in the year and then each year.
All welcome, but for insurance purposes participants must be members of the DPS or hold their own policies, such as BHS Gold Membership.
Thank you.
edited to add the cost because I forgot to put it in - its £25 per session.

The 12th March is just down the road from me. Would you allow a non-dales to attend (won't be offended if not - I'll come without the hairy monster! LOL)

Thanks Penny - brilliant!
I've put the dates in the DFs calendar so they should pop up as a reminder at the start of each month.

Is it all ridden and how babyish will you allow? Need to see if Lu can book it off, but it'd be great to bring both although Rory is still very very very green! It'd be west bank for us though

Hi Emily, as babyish as you like, its for anyone at any level. Nic is very experienced with babies and it would be fantastic to see Rory again!

Lu's finding out tomorrow if she can book it off- he is very very babyish though- he can manage a few laps of trot round the school, and has done a few strides of canter but that is it! It would do him good to do some work away from home
