I've just bought one from here www.natural-knots.com/Rope_Halter/p214110_408472.aspx I ordered it on Thursday and within an hour of placing my order I had an email telling my my chosen colour was out of stock and listing the colours they had. The halter arrived today, looks good and feels good - a bargain I think |

I've got 2 rope halters and love them - it's pretty much all I use on Lady.

I've got a rope halter but I couldn't figure out how to put a bridle on top then get the rope halter off! I used one on Floyd and just ended up leaving it on under his bridle because you almost always had to get off & lead him.

I take the noseband off my bridles and just leave the rope halter underneath. It means you cam ride home using that if something happens to the bridle.
You can take them off from underneath easily if using a bitless bridle and I regularly do it even with a bitted bridle but you need a good relationship and a horse who is very used to you having your hand in their mouth for the latter!
