Pleasure Ride

From Castle Bolton, Leyburn.

Sunday 2nd October

2 routes (both led)
a)14 Miles Faster ride – fantastic views through Swaledale. Ponies must be fit and be prepared to do some fast/canter work; approx. 3.5 hours duration
b)7 Mile Slower Ride – Small amount of roadwork but lots of nice canter grass tracks (if wanted). This will be a slower ride completing in about 2hours

Picnic afterwards (bring your own).

Departing from
Castle Bolton, DL8 4ET.

The longer ride will leave will leave at 10am sharp; Shorter ride at 11am to hopefully finish at about the same time for lunch.

Iam thinking about bringing Kez. Do you know if the road work is on quiet roads and are the grass tracks like a lane or wide open spaces where naughty ponies can run for miles and miles?, I'm taking rescue remedy just thinking about it!

Karen, sorry I've not been in touch, i'm not going to ride it until the end of the month but I will make enquiries as to the route but I gather the 7 mile is a really nice gentle ride.

Upping this for people, open to everyone and every type of pony. Would love a good turnout for this.
