The Hoof mender supplement and the advance feed balancer came today so i will take some photos of Merlin and his feet today and update everyone in a few months... he has rubbish feet (made worse by the fact the farrier trimmed them too far back last week so now he's footsore ) Have been recommended the equimins stuff by several people and it has a money back guarantee - so we'll see what happens...it's worth a try.

Im currently trying the Equimins Hoof mender pellets with Shian (her feet are awfull this year).
Im having trouble getting her to eat her tea at the moment tho, the smell of the pellets puts her off (i do find it strong myself). She is suposed to have 2 of the cups provided - im having to crush some pellets then put a very small teaspoon of it in. Its a minimal amount but, some is better than nothing!

Hmm well Merlin is a greedy pig who will eat anything and everything so no trouble with him.
Will she eat them out of your hand? Or could you put something like mint in her feed to make it more appetising? I've got the hoof mender powder rather than the pellets and it does absolutely reak!! If she's accepting a teaspoonfull at the moment maybe you could gradually build it up without her realising LOL!
They don't realise we are trying to do them good!

halfd - gives Equimins a ring about the problem. I have used them in the past and they were extremely helpful about problems with "fussy feeders". I can't remember what they suggested but I seem to think it worked.
