Getting ready for arrival of 2 dales. Not got mains water to paddocks and will need to transport water. Bought 90 litre tubs and wonder how much they will drink per day?

We usually fill up our 90l tub on average every 2/3 days but it depends on so many things, if they have plenty grass, or when it's been raining not so often, more often when it's dry less grass or if they are on hay. I sometimes find I end up tipping out a lot of water as it's gone green and yukky as they are not drinking it even tho due to the weather I would have thought the ponies would have needed too - so I suppose the answer is how long is a piece of string ;D ;D

Harley and Lady hardly drink a thing, Apollo can drink 30 litres a day! They all drink more in the winter when the grass is yuk and they're getting hay and hard feed, and all tend to drink less in the summer when the grass is lush.
