Feeling sad today as last night we lost our 15year old cat Tabatha. She was found by the road side not a mark on her so we don't know if she was knocked by a car or died naturally. She was becoming deaf with old age but it would have been unfair to have kept her shut in the house after all those years of being free. It is a quiet road here but not without traffic. I just hope she died of natural causes. Sleep tight Tab.  |

Im so sorry about your lovely cat Tabitha. people say let cats out on the night, but u never know what to do for the best. I am always relieved when mine turns up the next morning. They are such a worry the way they like to wander about. Hopefully she just died of natural causes, she was quite a good age. It will take some coming to terms with. I feel for you. Animals also bring heartbreak as well as happiness. Hugs from me.

So sorry, Sheila.  15 is a very good age and, as you say, it wouldn't have been fair to keep her housebound. At least you know she was happy to the end. RIP Tabatha |

so so sorry to hear this sheila its very hard losing a cat especially at such an age my old cat Missy died aged 17 and she moved out next door when we moved here but was still very sad when she went
