Saturday 29th October at Top o'th' Close Farm, Burnley BB12 8UD
We do this annually and its always been popular. Anyone is welcome, so do pop across and meet up with other Dales peeps! Its a chance to meet up with no ponies so we can have time for a chat and some food.

It's probably not going to work out but if I could get a train to Preston or Burnley and arrive between 10:15 and 11am would someone be able and kind enough to pick me up and then drop me back there around 6pm?

Heather, I assume you are travelling down from Scotland on train/coach?
Could collect you from Stockport/Manchester as we pass close by those places on our way to Penny.....I know the Scotland trains usually come to Stockport gong on to London, likewise coaches.
Cannot do the evening drop off though, as have to get back before dark, for hens etc.!!!!

Hi Penny,
10k plans now sorted, and I'll be able to come across for the morning. Yay! am looking forward to meeting a few people and hopefully seeing some of your lovely ponies. Do I need to bring any food or owt? Coming from west Leeds if anyone needs a lift across? (but won't be staying all day)

You don't need to bring anything at all Fi, it will be just nice to see you!
You can see the ponies if you want, it is optional though - better bring some good footwear though because it may rain between now and Saturday!

Optional whether to see the ponies?!! Seem to remember last year everyone took the option of viewing all the ponies - never tire of seeing your lovely herd, Penny!! I am sure people will come armed with waterproof boots and jackets |

No, Penny, you have never tried to sell me a pony .....but thats not to say someone who shall remain nameless, who was with me, talked about a certain pony of yours for ages afterwards!! Perhaps I should leave him at home in case he is tempted. We would both like a grey pony ;D Really need two ponies to round us up to a dozen ........

No, Penny, you have never tried to sell me a pony .....but thats not to say someone who shall remain nameless, who was with me, talked about a certain pony of yours for ages afterwards!!
