Is it ok if I come to as I am fairly new. I will be travelling from Hartlepool. It is 11th Feb isn't it . Is there a definite venue.

Sara says the Slug and Lettuce is good, plus there are lots of other places in the Omni Centre, and it's not too far from the station and easy to find just across the road from John Lewis.
I'll be there not sure if Tom will be able to join us tho

The Slug and Lettuce has a website where you can see a picture of the entrance (within the shopping mall) along with the menu which seems to have something to suit all tastes. They do a two for one on desserts.... My train gets in at 11:46 but if anyone else wants to meet earlier than that I can be there for 10:46 |

Ok, I have just booked a table at the slug and lettuce, edinburgh (will add in full address later when not on phone) for around 10 people for Saturday 12.30 but I did explain some might be arriving earlier than that. It's booked under the name "dales"

I'll be there earlier as my lift to the train station is leaving me there early in the morning so he can go and play trains. I'll just come through and go window shopping but if anyone else is likely to be earlier pm me and I'll give you my mobile number.

well we are back.
all was well on the train until Newcastle when a load of Arsenal football supporters descended onto the train, I think they may have won as they were in good spirits,lol.
It was lovely to meet up and have a chat and the food was good.
