Hi folks Apologies if this isn't in the right section.... Little old Lottie's eye looks slightly different and I'm wondering if you know why? It isn't running or seemingly sore or swollen.... She's a Fell so has black eyes......(now excuse my poor description!) Just outwith the area that you can see if she were looking normally in front of her (so the part that on a grey would be white, or in her case is black) there is a small area that appears to have lost it pigmentation and gone pink. It's only about the size of your nail on your little finger and doesn't seem to bother her but it had just appeared... I know it would be sensible to take a picture but a) it would be hard to catch and b) she'd run off like a maniac as she hates cameras!!!!! Any eye-dears!!!!!!! DB x

Are you sure it just suddenly appeared or might she always have had it? My Frankie has a streak without pigmentation in what I think is the same area you mean and it is nothing to worry about. I don't know what could have caused it in his case - maybe a burst blood vessel or an old injury or maybe he's always had it. If Lotties pink streak has suddenly appeared then I would have a word with your vet to be on the safe side. They will probably put your mind at rest and it won't mean a call out.
