Hello Everyone

Two months on and I can just about type without crying. I lost Piper to Cushings and Laminitis on the 21st December 2011, he was 17. In the end the outlook was so bleak that I decided to let him go, he was a shadow of himself although ironically his last day was a good one, must have been the endless treats and the best grass he'd seen in two years that I let him at in his last few days.

We had so much fun and did so much, he was a joy to ride and school and I miss him every day, what else can I say, he will be forever in my heart, a very special boy.

I am so, so sorry. he was a gorgeous and special boy I always remember you had him when I had Drummer and they were so similar you really helped me.

RIP Piper. It does become easier to remember the good times without crying but it takes time.

Thank you everyone, he was just such a little star and I loved him to pieces. I remember that years ago I used to spend hours on this board wittering endlessly on about him and everyone was so kind! I hope he is in a better place now. Very best wishes to everyone, maybe I'll be back one day with another pony, starting to be able to contemplate it so you never know.
