Fi, I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Piper. Would you mind posting a pic of him? He always looked in Tip-Top condition and moved brilliantly Take care

So sad to hear about Piper. I used to enjoy hearing all about your exploits with him. Hope you will share any new adventures if you eventually get another one!

Yes - I echo Linda (dpr above). Please do stay with us, Fi. Your posts were always hugely entertaining and you brought a lot of lively humour and fun to the board. I hope you do get another pony and find a whole new friendship.

So sorry to hear of this, he was a stunning pony.
Quite bizarrely I was thinking of you both not so long ago and how he was always very cheeky to your boyfriends.
RIP Piper.

Hello Moo
You'll doubtless be entertained to hear then that he loved the husband on sight, it was totally bizarre after he'd chewed, stomped and intimidated his way through a fair few. We pretty much shared our first date as I was somewhat lacking in enthusiasm for the whole boyfriend thing at the time. Anyway, he invited me to the cinema and I said no but relented with a charming "but I'm riding out on Sunday morning so you could come along so long as you don't mind a bit of running" Yes, I know.......... oh dear......... but he's a fit type so I felt it wasn't unreasonable.........yes, I know.........oh dear.........
I thought to myself as I trotted off to the tack room leaving them together "hee, hee, hee, lets see how he copes with this" and when I came back they were all over each other like a flipping rash, Piper snuffling and licking and generally acting all squishy and mushy and generally trecherous. Blighter. The funniest thing was the fact that at trot Piper would race him as he ran alongside, we must have looked more than a little mad.
The rest as they say, is history. Sadly Piper didn't get to play a starring role in our wedding as it took place in the middle of the snow in London three years ago but he did get a mention in the speeches!!!
Still missing him terribly.

I am so sorry to read this. Meg (in my profile photo) was put to sleep at the same age with the same condition. It is a horrible disease. My heart goes out to you

I've just seen this and clocked your post about Galahad. My heart goes out to you, it really does. It does get better but that is never much consolation at the time. I've also PMd you.... Fx
