After bad weather and a false start (due to wagon having other ideas) I've finally managed to get to a show. 
just a local one but this is Rory's first year showing under saddle and also my first time having him out inhand as before Em always had the honour whilst Id have Oz.
Well Rory didn't disgrace himself and it was also his first time going anywhere by himself. He came 1st inhand large breeds and 5th in the ridden but the judge loved him and we just need to polish his canter transitions up a bit although the extended canter works fine ;D
