Oh what a shame. That is the day I go away for the only week of the year!! I would have just about managed to get Mollie up there, as it not anything like so far as Barnard Castle. Hope you get lots of lovely ponies there - and I will try to get there next year.

I am about 12 miles away, Alison. Heavy rain all last night, and heavy showers today on and off - raining hard just now. Bakewell showground was designed for the big two day show, among other big events, so I would imagine the ground is well drained. I am sure it will be ok, and not be too soggy for Sunday ......well, hopefully not unless we have constant rain  |

Barlow show which is held on Bakewell showground was cancelled last weekend (9th & 10th) so fingers crossed for those that are planning on going and have entered.
