oh yes!! it was RDA donations rather than 'selling'! Wouldn't want Maggie carted off - not until the sloe gin (and Mattie and Kia who I'm looking forward to seeing) have been delivered to the showground anyway! lol

A worhwhile cause for donations - am involved in RDA too.

Has the performance been moved back to the Saturday now? I thought it was on the Sunday this year due to Mill Lane being booked? Need to book a day off work sharpish if thats the case.

Yes it's the Saturday for the reasons you say. Normally it's the Sunday.

I am planning to be there. It's my OH's birthday, but I'm hoping he will play golf in the daytime so I can sneak out!

Oh ....thought this would be one of the shows I could manage if it was a Sunday, but now its Saturday!!! Doing horse drawn weddings, so obviously Saturdays is a busy day, will have to check what we have that weekend. Really enjoy the Performance Show!

But ......have organised someone else to do the 4th August wedding hopefully, so should manage the Summer breed show - just spectators though.

I have sent off my entry form (gulp!) for Novice dressage (STILL haven't tried the test out even once! ), Handy pony & Novice jumping. I've hardly managed to do anything with Pip for weeks due to torrential rain so he's looking like a dirty,lardy tub-bucket Why did I agree to enter?

stop panicking Caroline. You can have a reader and just think about it the way my daughter does - she never ever practices before she does the test for real. The pony will be less bored on the day!

You'll be fine Caroline have a reader and I find it helps me to remember if I write the test out a few times that way it sinks in a bit better. Can't wait for the show it's always one of my favourite shows of the year.

I am gutted to be missing Caroline's debut performance. She has given me so much support over the years that I feel awful not being able to return the favour. Will someone please take over my role with the sloe gin? ;D

I asked them to move the wedding Caroline but they wouldn't oblige! He is my son so will you please forgive me?

Could they perhaps move the wedding to Selby? There is a lovely Abbey and the old industrial site (currently under demolition) would make an quirky backdrop to the photos? He he he!

Linda - you are truly forgiven I am hoping I can dash in to the classes quickly so that no one notices me.

Unfortunately, I will be driving & towing my trailer back to Alisons so will be unable to partake of the Sloe Gin! (Oh how I wish I could get sloshed!).
