WANTED Free & Easy Saddle - harleydales

I'm looking for another Free & Easy saddle for Harley - he's using Lady's at the moment!

It needs to be a wide or size 3, with a 17 inch seat.
Not dressage style, they are too flat - GP or endurance.

Appearance not particularly important as long as the leather is sound.

Oh that's a shame.

I have more F&E's than I have rideable ponies at the moment, so have been thinking of selling a couple of them, but they are both a number 2 width fitting.

One is a single flap close contact dressage (I think it's the same seat as the other saddles. It has certainly never felt like a shallower seat, and it's definitely the same as the other saddles in terms of panels. The only thing it lacks is multiple D rings), and the other is an all purpose. Both 17 inch seats, and both with well cared for leather and in very good used condition. They also both have the variable girthing system. Both are black leather.

If you aren't absolutely sure about the size 3 being essential (the 2 does go very wide, but I appreciate some horses are wider still), then I'm happy for you to speak to Les Sparks about either of those saddles as he saw them probably only a year or two back when I had the girthing system changed on them, and the people up there commented on how nicely I'd looked after them.

Anyway, I know it sounds as though they're probably not right for you, but thought I'd mention them anyway.

Hi Sarah,

I'll e-mail Les and see what he thinks - thanks! Lady's saddle is a 3 and Harley is 5 degrees wider than her, so I think it does have to be a 3. It would be the GP one I'd be interested in.

I've got a saddle coming up the road today to try, but if that's no use I'll give you a call.
