Hi All, so I'm still planning to take Phoebe to our first show next weekend (gulp), and have a few lessons booked to work out my indv show. I had a lesson today in which we introduced phoebe to a Pelham and me to two reins ! Phoebe became lovely and collected in trot, but canter still leaves a lot to be desired (s#*t off a shovel pretty much sums it up, but I'll try to get more collection on Monday at me last lesson) So what to do for indv show? What's an easy routine with minimal cantering? When riding in the group at the beginning, is canter expected?

with my novice guys I do a short simple show , walk away from judge, then into trot, start of a figure of eight. into canter then across diag, back to trot whilst changing the rein, up to canter on other rein, if ok extend and then back to halt
