Has anyone else tried their products?
You may remeber that Rusty,my mini shettie had terribel trouble with his breathing last year. Several vet visits later, and after trying all the usual supplements we settled on Beclamethasone inhaler as a means of helping him a bit. However he still sounded wheezy all summer and couldnt manage more than a slow walk as he got out of breath.Didnt play, looked fed up etc. This year aia started him on the inhaler again in spring, but he still got slowly worse. In desperation I thought I would try Global Herbs Zephyr. Well, after 1 week the improvement was noticable, after 2 weeks he sounded almost normal and now after 4 weeks he has been off the inhaler for 2 weeks, his breathing sounds normal,he trots everywhere again, his cheeky character is back, and he plays with his mates again.
It is the most amazing thing ever.
I am so impressed I am thinking of trying their other products for the girls arthritis and Lucys sweetitch/headshaking.
In fact....I am so impressed may even try their human products for all my health problems..... ;D

Im quite impressed with global herbs too. I use the Restore, vits and mins, and also the mud x in winter. Glad you have seen an improvement in Rusty. My friend who is a vet nurse has asked all the vets what they think and they claim it is rubbish! I dont think so though.

Well I am going to give my lot a course of the Restore..It cant hurt and if it gives them a clear out its well worth it.
I can honestly say that at the moment the Zephyr has proved a life saver for Rusty,as I was wondering if,as his quality of life was so poor for 8 months of the year if I was being cruel keeping him going. So I owe them big time.....

i have used the supercalm- sams previous owner said she had tried it and it didnt make a difference but wanted to see for myself as i was in the process of trying everything. i think it perked him up but made no difference to his headshaking or his temperement. prev owner tried the magcalm and said that didnt work either. i got the fly free but couldnt get him to eat it so dont know about that one. i still have about 2thirds of a tub if anyone wants it i think postage will be about £3 ill check it out pm me if anyonec can use it. i like the sound of their garlic but they never have any in when i ring. on the subject of headshaking (i wont get going lol) sams has reduced so much since i got the treeless saddle.

I tried the arthritis stuff from global herbs a few years ago and it made no difference whatsoever. I am quite openminded towards these kind of things but personally I have never had any success with herbal remedies. Homeopathy on the other hand has been quite succesful for various ailments. I guess it all depends on the individual horse and the complexities of the problem.

I think they are fantastic and so helpful. I also use Feedmark skin supliment which is excellent for Pearl. I like Global though as I can phone or e mail and get lots of help.

I have found the global herbs stuff to be excellent. The mud x is fabulous. I have used the supercalm on two different horses on Henry it did the job one tub and he was sorted Purdie however I dont think anything short of ACP would calm her down!! The Zephyr is good stuff and the restore is amazing really makes your horse bloom. Although what works for one horse wont always work for another, things like headshaking can be caused by so many different things that one product cant possibly sort out all of those especially if its caused by allergens

Curly cops a strop whenever I put anything new in his feed. I find the only way is to start at 1/4 of a scoop and sloooooowly introduce it LOL...... it can take me 2 weeks to manage to get full amount of herbs in his feed, then he is fine, until I have to add something else.....

Is global available in shops, or does it have to be mail order?

If you ring them and give them your postcode they will tell you the nearest stockist in your area. I have finally got around to using the pestoban on D. And in all honestly I havent seen him stamping his feet since! I did however fail to follow the instructions on the tub, which says use rubber gloves and didnt! Bearing in mind I am allergic to quite a lot of things, it was no surprise I was itching my hands and arms like mad for the next day or so!!!
