rats!! I'm going on holiday that day so will sadly miss it. But will still get a Dales fix as I'm off to Devon riding for my holiday.

Glad you can come Mair. I hadn't really thought about food yet. I usually do something hot for everyone, but if you would like to bring something to nibble on that would be lovely. Thank you.

You always put on a lovely lunch, Penny.But with the cost of food etc nowadays, I am sure people would like to contribute in some way, even if its just cakes or bread or whatever ....obviously need to have a list so you do not get the same things.
One farmer I know does talks on her sheep and their fleeces. She is struggling for money, but provides tea and coffee and biscuits. She leaves a dish asking for voluntary contributions towards this, and she said people are more than genorous, and she actually profits from the drinks provided!!!
