Two wheeler carriage for sale - good quality Genesis make.Fabulous for everyday use but also suitable for exercise/pleasure vehicle classes. In very good condition. Seat can be wound back and forth to balance the weight, it has hydraulic brakes as the carriages were originally designed for horse trials when you were still allowed to do them with two wheelers. There's a good back step and I have both angled and flat seat cushions for it. Deep blue colour and has brass fittings. Under seat storage for spares box or picnic basket. Shafts are adjustable and have just had new bushes installed, it was fully serviced 12 months ago and has been stored properly in a dry shed with wheels up on big timber sleepers to keep them up off the cold concrete. Paintwork needs a bit of attention for showing standard but nothing a touch up pot wouldn't sort out. Successfully used to start my 13.3hh Dales mare into driving and only for sale as we’ve now got a four wheeler. I'm told it would fit a 13.2hh to a 14.2hh. Distance between shafts at the brackets end is 33" swingle tree is 31". More measurements can be taken if required, just pm me. Only for sale as we've moved to a four wheeler. Loads more pictures are in a Flickr set of imgesLooking for £850 for it.

It's really comfortable and gives a good ride and the car drivers seem to respect it. Perhaps because it does look better than the usual sulkies and cobbled together carts they normally see on the roads round here.
We do need to sell it as we have yet more vets bills to pay. We're now onto our fourteenth month in a row with a treble figure vets bill!
If anyone from here in northern England or Scotland is interested in the carriage but has no transport give me a shout as we moved it easily from Cambridgeshire when we bought it and could transport it to a new home if costs were covered.

This advert is putting me off visiting Dalesfans! I would love this for Penley but have absolutely no way of affording it!
Sorry if my post got your hopes up Heather, maybe seeing a new reply might have led you to think you had a seller. If I was mean I could say I was just getting my own back for making me jealous, but I'm not mean really! :-)
Hope you find a loving home for it, it's beautiful!

That's a very good price for it, someone is getting a bargain there.
Have you tried it on Carriagelink Heather? I know they charge for adverts but it reaches a huge audience.

I tried it on Dragon Drivng and just got lots of people asking loads of measurements and then disappearing. It's been values at £1,000 plus I'll have a look at Carriagelink and see what their fees are. I'm not happy with these that take a percentage of sale price.
