I'm a lucky person as M says we can afford a day out at the Royal Highland on the Friday I think the in-hand classes are in the main show ring very early, does anyone else know? Does anyone else fancy meeting up in the stands for a hot drink and to watch the classes? If anyone is competing do you fancy meeting up after your class?

We are "Hoping" to be there, we have a horse in about the third class I think but we aren't showing him ourselves so will be spectating. It does rely on us still being sane and sensible after 3 long days at Lincoln County with the sheep previously but we do hope to get!! (we being Me, Mum and Laura!) so yes please. The Inhands start 7.45am so will try to find you in the stands Heather but if we fail to make it please forgive us as we are back at the RHS on the Sunday with our riddens so nothing is set in stone.

It's a shame you can't make it Zelda. Perhaps we should aim for a big meet up next year with Valerie and Richy too.
Hopefully you'll make it Anna, would be lovely to catch up with you all. I suspect we'll be arriving about 8:30 to 9am.

I'm hoping to go on the Saturday - a friend was supposed to be competing but her horse is off work. She's threatening to book a mobility scooter for me since I'm currently still on crutches but we'll see. I'm just back to work (admittedly only parttime for the moment) after 6 weeks off so can't take the Friday off unfortunately.

I have failed again to find the times of the classes on the rhs website. Or is this a ploy to make us buy programmes? Can anyone tell me what time the dales are on on Friday?

If you aim to be there for between 7:45 and 8am you should see them. I think husband and I are going to need to have a 5am start in order to see them which is just a bit mad.

Thanks Zelda. Wow that's early, but I'm going to go for it. Heather, may be I'll see you there?

It's always good to meet fellow Dales owners. I have long'ish curly hair that's equal grey and brown. I'll be wearing my prescription sunglasses, dark blue jeans and red patent jodhpur boots. I'll pm you my mobile number as texting me when you reach the stands is probably the best way to meet up.

Ok. I I'm 5'10" and closely resemble kate moss! Ha, I wish! I have gone blond though...possibly I'm having a mid life crisis!? I could carry a copy of the times but I'm sure we'll recognise each other from our Scotland lunch.
