This is a very belated thank you to Zelda and Tom who very kindly put up with Joe and myself last weekend. We had a much needed lovely little weekend break with them and they looked after us SOOO well! Lots of chat, wonderful food and of course cuddles with the lovely boys, Trev and Ben. The weather was a bit mixed but we did manage a beautiful ten and a half mile walk one day which took in Smailholm tower, the river Tweed and ended with a marvellous shandy and steak sandwich. We all took a trip to a very picturesque mill but got rained off so sat chatting over lunch in a lovely garden centre. Drove through some stunning countryside though which was really enjoyable. We also went to see the start of the Galashiels ride out which was an incredible sight, over 120 horses riding through the town centre. I've included a video link below. So thank you Tom and Zdlda, we both felt very refreshed and chilled when we returned home, which was just as well since my feet haven't touched the ground since, hence this late post! www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJzjUa4oLUE&feature=youtube_gdata_player

It was lovely to have you and Joe to stay, shame it couldn't have been for longer - there is alway next time tho you might have to rough it in the house next time if Sara hasn't moved on

Same for me, YouTube says the vid is private I love it at Zelda and Toms! It's so peaceful there. Good grief, though, 10 and a half mile hike? I doubt I could have walked that far
