Just thought I'd share with you the positive results I've had so far with chlorella
I took Emerald to Donna Blinman last week for a general check/workout before I start to do too much with her, Donna is a Vet who is also a physio/ostiopath who can tell what's going on inside by feeling outside and has worked wonders on a lot of horses with problems.
She had very little going on physically just some slight stiffness in her neck and jaw which Donna released but she said she was quite gassy and had some discomfort/inflammation around her bladder and liver, nothing to worry about probably caused by all the stress she's gone through recently and change onto decent diet.
She gave me some chlorella powder to put in her feed 1 tbs/day to detox and also boost her immune system, she has now been on it 6 days and the difference in her is amazing, she looks brighter/ more sparkle and is much more lively, she has been very good under saddle so far and has been going forward in walk very willingly if a little slowly but was reluctant to maintain trot the couple of times we've tried, but yesterday when I got on her she was obviously full of herself and striding out in a very fast walk, when I suggested we might try trot she was off like a rocket and after only a few strides of trot she wised off into canter, rather took me by surprise but it was a lovely smooth balanced canter for a youngster. Today she was very forward going again and I can only put it down to the effects of the chlorella making her feel better inside, looks like she is going to a very forward going ride which is fine by me as long as she remains calm and sensible with it, only time will tell on that one.
Have done some research on chlorella and it appears to be a 'super food' which has all sorts off health benefits, not cheap but seems to be worth it, I'm going to put my old boy on it and see what it does for him
