Square will be easier to pack and transport (from bitter experience of transporting a 3 tier round one, already decorated!)
Is it a fruit cake you're making?

Made a square one today making a round one tomorrow lol whatever one isn't the wedding cake will be our Christmas cake lol. Yes it's a fruit cake my old faithfull recipe that I first made at school, from a Stork recipe book.
I'm going to make it a very simple design prob hearts or flowers (flat lol) stuck on so that it is as easy as poss to transport, got to take it to the registry office then on to the restaurant so it's going to have to be bomb proof.
