www.pedalpub.com/twincities/index.htmlEldon's back from a conference back East. This one has to be seen. It's like a Fred Flinstone mobile... only ... well, it's a pub on wheels where everyone pedals. LOL, thank heavens it's the bar tender that's 'driving'. Eldon said he overheard some of the very drunken riders saying they could make it through the light as the driver put on the brakes. Still, it looks like they're all having a great time

Crikey, I'm astonished it's allowed!!! I think it would be fairly quickly outlawed over here - I just can't imagine it being insurable, with the risk of driver being distracted or probably more especially with the risk of drunken riders falling off and/or causing an accident. Whoever thinks these things up!

Eldon was describing it to me as he drove along behind it. I couldn't believe it was operational. I just can't imagine it being legal, but it sure is, fully licensed and all. The company has and does suggest patrons wear bicycling helmets as it is a bicycle, but as adults, it's the patron's responsibility for their own noggin whether they wear the helmet or not. They also leave it up to the 'pilot's descretion if a patron is too drunk to continue the ride and will boot them off if they get too drunk. I guess they've put a lot of thought into these
