due to walking all over the place for fencing needs and simple critter care (gosh 13 acre fields are huge), I've been getting a burning sensation in my right arch. I have extremely high arches and for the last decade if not two, I've noticed manufacturers have not put arch supports in shoes. I typically have to buy inserts and create my own wedging and even that isn't high enough to support my arches. I guess all the walking finally made the muscles in my foot go. Does anyone know if accupuncture is good for this sort of thing? It seems similar to my ankle when I sprain it, except it's where the muscles of the arch join the heel of the foot. Icing and liniment seems to make it feel better and I found an old ankle sprain support to help, but I'd like to get this cleared up if I could. I'd love to get back to hiking and my critter care means I'll be doing much more walking here than I used to do. I'd like to get my foot back so I can quit hobbling =p

You have my sympathies, Debbie! I struggle with my feet and ankles when I have to do lots of field walking and I now do whatever I can by quad bike. With 17 acres you really do need a quad bike! I need one for 7 acres.
