Hope the flasks are filled with hot water, and you've got a roaring fire lit...
.. unless you've opted to go out somewhere for the day.

Oh blimey its a bit cold not to have electric. Our power is off at the moment, but fortunately they have placed a generator in for the week. BUT, it is quite noisy. As the ground is so wet I said they could put it on our driveway rather than in the field. Bad Idea!
do you have a coal fire - and/or gas?

I would definitely be heading out for a pub lunch, then maybe a nice leisurely read in a warm public library, or gate-crash a friend

Power back on couldn't go out anywhere as Tom was working up in Edinburgh, so I spent a day doing not very much lol it's difficult to do things when you've got no water supply I'm such a mucky pup I need to wash my hands all the time, it's funny how so many tasks involve electricity or water
