Thank you, so upset but it's the sensible thing to do. Have a few people coming to view them over the weekend so fingers crossed. Not quite sure if they're what they're looking for, but we'll see. Coral April Horizon

If I had the money right now, I'd be happy to take in Coral or April!

I'm so sorry to read your sad advert April. I can't have more but they'll hopefully find new, long term homes quickly as they're such lovely ponies.

if you were here, I'd let you put them in my fields until you were ready to take them back. I'm so sorry you're having to rehome them

I'm renting grazing for the foalies at the moment which they could be turned out in, but would have no one to check on them.. The area is quite residential which in some respects is good, others not so, as ponies do go missing from around here so they need checking on at least twice a day.. Few more pics of April from when she was still at Tarbarl stud then one of her lying down with her pal Horizom, she's genuinely the most beautiful gentle, friendly foal, I completely love her to pieces. She's my dream come true! Then a few more of Coral. She's 14.1 really filled out in the last year. Most of these photos are from last year so obviously she's matured a lot more since then and looks more as she does above; I never have anyone helping at the yard so rarely get pics of me doing anything with them, then always forget to take them myself! She has been bitted, had tack on, walked and trots on lunge with and without tack, walks out up lanes. Feet regularly trimmed, worming, jabs and teeth up to date. She's quite a dominant mare with the other horses, but her and my gelding get on really well.. And you do need to be firm with her as she wasn't handled at all until she was over 2 years old, but she's extremely loving and good to work with. When I've worked with her every day over a period of time she's been fantastic. I haven't got around to backing her yet as I haven't had anyone at the yard with me. I was going to send her away to be backed early next year but as I won't be able to ride for up to a year after my op it seems pointless. I would really like her to go to a home where she'll be put to a job next year, be this ridden work or as a brood mare. I really think she'd make a perfect brood mare, this is what I bought her for and if I had the land and time I would put her in foal this coming spring. I feel she is very reasonably priced, it's just finding somewhere looking for something of her age. Dozing first time she had a saddle on her back First time up the lane, both the following pics were the first winter I had her Last summer (please excuse the fence - they were taking the top off the grass in the car park) September 2013

Would turn her out here if there was more grass and bigger fields on the yard, they have to come in every night as it is - suits Jester though due to his cushings! I can't win! I'm open to sensible offers on her as would just like her to go to a good home where she'll be put to a job. She loves doing bits and bobs and you can see her thinking about it when you've done something then turn her out after.. I've thought about loaning her, perhaps on a breeding loan, but I couldn't put myself through the stress with everything else going on to be honest, so many loans go wrong I can't really take the risk!
