My field this afternoon and a very swollen Tweed, I'm sure the pic would have been better if I'd been brave enough to go to the middle of the bridge, I only got about 6ft onto it, I don't do wobbly bridges with holey side lol

The Tweed has already burst it's banks in peebles, and not due to peak until nine o'clock tonight. Stay dry Zelda!

Thankfully we are not near the river, we've got a little burn at the bottom of the field but as we are uphill from that we're ok. We were going into Galashiels to get some shopping so went down for a nosey

Goodness, that's a VERY soggy field. Hope everything is OK this morning. We missed most of the rain we were promised, thankfully.

I live in an area actually called Waterland, so we have to get the horses off the field early oktober.
Stay dry out there, Zelda!

Your fields look in similar condition to mine, which are also very soggy at the moment, mine are minus your lovely views though. Iv'e spent days spreading old waste straw in the gateways to try to soak up some of the water and liquid mud, it has helped a bit but now have a mess of very soggy straw but at least its better than sinking ankle deep in mud and loosing wellies.
