For those not on Facebook the schedule and entry form are now available to download from the Society website: www.dalespony.org/Events.htmlOr please be in touch if anybody would like them emailed/posted. We have NPS, NPS Dressage, Equifest, BSPS Bright Stars, MIDARC and Cricklands qualifiers; along with NPS silver medals to the in hand and ridden champs. There will also be some lovely unusual rosettes for certain classes thanks to our fantastic sponsors. (The BSPS Bright Stars class is open to registered and unregistered ponies of Dales type and is aimed at competitors (or ponies) wanting to experience what a big championship show is like if they qualify. There's also not that many shows holding Equifest qualifiers in the Midlands region as of yet, so it would be a great opportunity to qualify at our show.) A limited amount of overnight stays are available (stables or corralling & electric hookups) on a first come first served basis. Don't be put off by the distance - we aren't much further South at all from the Derbyshire show and right in the middle of all major motorway networks from all across the country.

Don't forget to get entries in for the Midlands Show by Monday 7th July LOADS of qualifiers, loads of classes, beautiful rosettes and sashes up for grabs! Something for everyone with in hand and ridden showing, working hunter, dressage and fun classes! Would be lovely to see some new faces this year, we're easy to get to being near all main motorways; we also have a small amount of stables and electric hook ups available for overnight stays.

Would also just like to add it would be really really fab to get lots of entries in the BSPS Bright Stars class! Mostly because no other breed shows for any of the societies have been given qualifiers so it would be great to put them to good use and get some dales ponies qualified! It is open to everyone with registered or unregistered ponies of dales type and you DON'T have to be (or become) a BSPS member. The final is held at the BSPS summer champs show in August at Arena UK and is an m&m mixed breeds final. The only restriction on entering this class is no ponies that have previously qualified for RIHS or HOYS can enter. Qualifying cards are awarded for 1st to 3rd place so all entered stand a good chance of qualifying

How much is it for stabling? What facilities i.e. loos etc are there as I would be in my little truck with no access to cooking food and on my own.

Will have to double check for this year, I think it was £5 for a night last year so I imagine it would be the same. There's a proper toilet next to the show field and electric hook ups if you need them. There's also shops, a chippy, pubs and restaurants within walking distance that do nice food One lady is already stopping (camping) and was asking if there was anyone else to have a bbq etc with I think.

If you could put a note in with your entries with what you want (stable/hook up etc) and your name and number I will pass it on to the yard owner and confirm it for you; you pay on arrival for these Will ask her if it's the same price as last year tomorrow I keep forgetting!
