thanks everyone.
Despite being at work all day I had a lovely day. Met up with an old friend I've not seen in a while for lunch, met another old friend after work to get our hair cut, then had Chinese takeway followed by a stint in the lambing shed, helping lamb a ewe.
If that sounds a rather odd thing to enjoy on your birthday, let me explain that experiencing lambing has been on my bucket list for many years and this year I've finally done it thanks to the people at the new yard we're at! It's strangely addictive!
