Birdie is a Yartleton Dales pony , he is a 9 year old 14.2 Dales gelding living in Gloucestershire offered on long term/permanent loan to excellent barefoot non-competitive home.
Goes out happily in company but unconfident with lorries, tractors on his own so requires confident rider and more exposure.
He has had a neck injury at some time in his life but this has been fixed by a cortisone injection and the vet has said this may last his lifetime providing he isn't asked to do serious dressage or jumping and can be redone in the field if it ever should become a problem. No bad habits, very loving nature, comes to call. Loves attention and going for adventures. has always lived out and been barefoot. Excellent in a herd.
