Ooh pretty! We've had some pretty sunsets but no lovely pinky purply ones like those first two photos. They are stunbing

No elms the far trees are oaks and the close ones to the right side are hawthorn

Lovely photos, I never seem to have a camera handy if we get skies like that, and my mobile phone doesn't take good pics, still got the old fashioned type.

Shame Zelda - two of those trees have a look of elm to me - just the way they have grown, I suppose. Still it is still lovely to have mature trees like that nearby - as long as they do not shed limbs tonight in these gusty winds.

These are so lovely, but my ultimate fav is that first one. The way the light is, and the picture composition....just perfect!
