It's that time of year again. Sunday 30 November. At Top o'th' Close Farm, BB12 8UD. Food and chat. A chance to catch up with friends and get away from the murk of winter for a few hours.
Please let us know if you can come along and if you can bring anything for the table so we don't double up too much.
Thanks Alison and Penny

I'm planning on coming over - with my friend again too. As we're both veggie, shall we bring something like a quiche or two over?

Well, my frined has child care issues so won't make it, but I will.
Do you know what time the various ponies will be having lessons? There were a couple I particularly wanted to see?
thanks, Fi

Fi, I'm not sure anyone is bringing a pony now. One has had skin problems and another person has lorry issues. There are possibly two ponies coming with Alison, but I am leaving this up to her to decide on the day as she is very busy for the few days before.
But, it is first and foremost a day for socialising, so it will be great to see you in any case.

See you tomorrow- we're coming for the social (the ponies are too high maintainance to bring as they will not behave if unsupervised- give me my warmbloods any day who happily stand on the wagon with a net for hours without a bit of trouble... )

Thank you to everyone for coming along yesterday. We had a lovely day for it and as one member put it, she had never been to our place without either rain or gale, so it was a refreshing change.
There was a lot of food and chat and a quick visit onto the ponies who were still outside on the hill. The puppies, Holly the Westie and Millie the Labrador both enjoyed the fuss and then several hours rolling and fighting in one of the clean straw-bedded stables.
Great to see everyone, thanks for coming. You must all let me know if you would like to do it again next year. Penny x
