Gosh I can't believe she had so many!! I didn't even know that dogs could have that many! Such a shame about the still born...at least there are lots of other healthy pups Congratulations to you and Bramble!

Hi, I'm failing to get photos up, but I'll keep trying. The puppies are growing well and bramble is proving to be a super mum. Sadly we lost another pup on the first night. We don't know why, just the way it goes and why they have such large litters. We are supplementing a few of the smaller pups, simply because there are so many competing at the milk bar. I must say it's like having another baby! Sleepless nights and anxious waits. We are exhausted!

awwww, shame about the 2 you've lost but wow and congratulation at Bramble having so many. I'll bet you are exhausted!
Hope you can get some photos up eventually, what breed is Bramble?

Congrats on the puppies! We bred our Newfoundland's and also had a huge litter. I found that those flaxseed bags or beanbags that you heat in the microwave for aches and pains came in handy for keeping pups warm while others nursed, as the litter was so big and they nursed in shifts. I had my own baby six days prior to the newfie pups, so had my hands full and couldn't always hold the pups who weren't nursing. Good luck and God Bless ya, wait til they are running all over the place! Good job Bramble!

Glad your puppies are doing well.
Our terrier Maddie had pups just before xmas, 6, but we lost one a couple of days later. The other 5 are doing really well, eyes now open and sitting up - sooooo cute!

*passes along huge cuppa tea or coffee, whichever you prefer for these sleepless nights and feeding shifts just remember, it won't be forever and soon you'll be dishing up puppy foods and chasing after them all

Thanks for posting pics! Are they jack Russell's? They are super cute!! We have a rough coat jack Russell puppy that bounces around between our 3 Newfies. Love the pics, too bad you weren't closer...i'd want one!

Aw they're really cute, you'll have your hands full soon, are you keeping any or will you be looking for homes for them all?

They are Parson Russell Terriers, the Kennel Club recognised version of a Jack Russell. I'm not allowed to keep any, we already have three, Willis (dad) Maddie (mum) and Buster, (son, who was unsold from the first litter we had so ended up keeping him)
So yes they are all for sale and will be on the Kennel club website shortly!
